Ms. Magdalene, they called you a dirty whore, but in my eyes, you are one whom I adore. Those same very people trampled me on to the damp, cold, rugged floor.
“ He who is without sin, cast the first stone.” The world may prosecute us, we must remember that we are not alone.
Ms. Magdalene, they called you a filthy prostitute but, because of your faith in one God ……. to you , I salute. Those same people brought me shame , discussed, self hatred, bitterness and destitute.
As Christ was drawing the line in the dust, He was also letting us know he has us covered, that in Him, we can trust.
Ms. Magdalene, your name alone brings fourth great debate and uncertainty in their eyes, similar to my life full of their nasty lies. His crown read “ KING OF JEWS” as He lay on the cross, so ignorant , and blind they were, they failed to realize what they have lost.
Ms. Magdalene, how long did it take them to realize who was standing before them? how long before the world opened Her eyes? As for me it was a battle, a fight, at night I would cry and wish that I were to die.
He said” I will be with you until the end of time.” and “ I will never leave you or forsake you” He gave me the strength I needed to survive, He gave me what my dry, thirsty soul needed to regain my will to be alive.
Ms. Magdalene, misunderstood with curses and defeat, yet with all of those daggers thrown at you, you still sat in the presence of the King, you still had the priceless honor to wash His Holy feet even the world did not see you as worthy, they did not see you as elite. Misunderstood with curses of defeat, yet with all of those daggers I, like you, have stood in the presence of a King. I may have not washed his feet however, He washed mine so I can be free and covered in his purifying blood, dancing in sweet victory.
“ The Lord God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness.” that is what was spoken, and with those words of love and hope, my broken spirit was awoken.
Ms. Magdalene. I call you a BEAUTY, you stripped your self bare of your shame before Jesus, paving the way with faith, humility for all the ones that have been afflicted seeking love, set apart from the world looking to be free.
